LOVE Island’s Niall Aslam has returned to social media after a TWO year break, and eight years after his sudden exit from villa.
The former Islander, now 31, was part of the OG line-up for the 2018 series of the ITV2 reality show, but walked out after just eight days.

Since then, Niall, who was 23 when he was on Love Island, has tried to remain out of the spotlight and two years ago took a step back from social media, with his last post being in March 2024.
But last night, he returned to Instagram with a sweet post about a recent holiday to Greece.

Niall shared a slew of hunky shots of himself without his shirt off, showing off his muscles and tattoos.
The former villa star wrote next to the photos: “Checking back in after a few years. Had a great time in Crete meeting some of the locals!”

Fans rushed to say how thrilled they were that the star was back on social media, with one writing: “Good to see you! Hope all is wonderful.”

Niall quit Love Island after eight days, and later revealed he’d been hospitalised due to stress-induced psychosis – which saw him suffer from hallucinations.
The former reality star also previously explained to fans that he has Asperger’s Syndrome, which made it more difficult for him to adjust to life on the reality show.
In 2021, Niall took to TikTok and blamed the “set-up” scenes on Love Island for triggering his exit .

In the post, Niall told fans: “Before Love Island I was a normal social work student in Coventry, and call me naïve but I used to think the show was all as it seemed.
“As some of you may know, I have autism spectrum disorder – that the show were aware of because they get your whole medical record. This might explain why I thought the show was all as it seems as I’m quite a literal thinker.
“When I got there, there were loads of little things that I didn’t see coming; I thought you could just chat to whoever you want but it was all very set up in ways of like: ‘Don’t talk to her’, or: ‘No, you like that person.’”
Niall went on: “I’m quite an unpredictable person and I think they want to be able to know what you’re going to do next. The stress of this on top of quite a lot of other things started to really get to me.”
A rep for Love Island told The Jattvibe at the time “All Islanders are free to make their own decisions regarding who they couple up with and the public vote or format decides who leaves the island, not producers.”
