LOVE Island star Ella Thomas suffered a “freak accident” that saw her rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
The model shared video footage of her in an ambulance with a fractured foot on the night she celebrated her 26th birthday.

She even missed walking the Met Gala red carpet after having to undergo an operation.
Ella wrote: “Didn’t think the birthday celebrations would end with a freak accident and me getting surgery on my foot.
“Missed the Met Gala for a night in the ward..
“Keep swiping to see the vibes after the doctor gave me the dr*gs to distract me from the pain.”

She added: “It was definitely a birthday to remember.”
Ella reached the final of Love Island‘s series 10 in 2023 with Tyrique Hyde.
The pair, who had previously met in a nightclub before the show, coupled up on day one.
They had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship before officially splitting in early 2024.
Tyrique is now dating All Stars 2026 winner Samie Elishi.
