LUKE LITTLER is targeting an unprecedented clean sweep of all darts majors this calendar year.
Nobody in the sport can beat The Nuke when it comes to TV titles in 2026 – there are 11 on offer and he has his hands on the first four.

Since he won the PDC World Championship for the second time on January 3 at Ally Pally, he has added the World Masters, UK Open and Premier League crown to his collection, earning £1.63million prize money.
Last autumn, he was also triumphant at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton and Players Championship Finals in Minhead, for which he got £273,500 dosh.
Phil Taylor, in 2008 and 2009, and Michael van Gerwen, in 2016, came close to total domination during their pomp but fell short in a few televised events.
If Littler continues the way he is playing, and assuming nobody else steps up in the meantime, then who would bet against him sweeping the board.

His biggest targets are next month’s PDC World Cup of Darts and the European Championships in October, both of which are in Germany.
Less than an hour after he won the Premier League for the second time, having beaten Luke Humphries 11-10 in a thrilling final, the 19-year-old was asked if he could do the clean sweep.
Littler, who has been using a new set of Target Darts equipment, replied: “Yeah, I mean if my game’s good enough and it’s up there.
“Maybe tonight might have been one of my best performances in a night.

“Just how I felt and obviously how the games went – a last-leg decider in the semis, a last-leg decider in the final.
“But yeah, if I keep going, obviously with the new darts, then I’ll try and get that clean sweep.”
Winning the tournament in the 21st leg against Cool Hand Luke was symbolic of how he manages to hold his nerve and bottle in the clutch moments.
It was the 13th time out of 15 that he had been successful in a last-leg decider.
Proof that if you do not take your chances against Littler you end up regretting it.
Littler, the world No.1, said: “I mean going years back even to the JDCs and even going back to the WDF days, in a last-leg decider, I just always backed myself.
“I just think to myself, I’ve just got to throw everything at my opponent and when I saw Luke went off 140, I just had that little bit more momentum.
“Obviously I never want to be against the darts. But yeah really, I just had to follow Luke and that’s what I’ve done and got the job done.
“When I came off stage I was told I’ve won 13 out of 15 last-leg deciders this year in the Premier League. It just goes down to myself playing well.
“I mean I’m always relaxed in a final because you just dig deep, you do all the hard work leading up to the final, where you can sort of relax.
“Some people might call me crazy for relaxing in the final but you just can’t put too much pressure on yourself.
“Obviously you’re guaranteed money. But you just don’t have to think about it too much.”
