AN apartment in the luxurious Italian villa featured in Casino Royale has gone on the market.
The property – where James Bond delivers his iconic catchphrase – sits on the shores of glamorous Lake Como in northern Italy.

Bond then appears in a full suit, gun in hand, and delivers the iconic line: “The name’s Bond, James Bond.”
Since the film’s release, the villa has become a magnet for Bond fans from around the world.

Until now, those wanting to experience the property could rent it for around €520 a night.
But an apartment inside the iconic villa is now being offered for sale by luxury property firm Sotheby’s International Realty.
The apartment features five rooms on the ground floor, with two bedrooms, a study and two bathrooms spread across two levels.
It also comes with two basement storage rooms and parking spaces.
“This property promises truly elegant living on Lake Como,” the estate agent told BILD.
Built in 1921 to designs by brothers Gino and Adolfo Coppedè, the property has a monthly maintenance fee of €400.
“As the owners, you don’t have to worry about anything on the property; a caretaker looks after the garden and the boat dock,” the listing says.
The Bond connection isn’t the only luxury on offer.
The south-facing terrace promises a “beautiful lake view” in the evening sun, according to the real estate agent.
The new owner will also have direct access to Lake Como, including a private beach.
There are boat berths in the villa’s private marina, a jetty and a swimming pool.
To sweeten the deal further, the complex is surrounded by sprawling parkland filled with “exotic and rare plants”.
According to Sotheby’s, the apartment was renovated in 2023.
Anyone hoping to make this slice of Bond history their own will need to find €1.45 million.
