A LORRY fire has brought traffic on the M25 to a standstill as emergency services work to clear the scene.
Motorists are facing travel chaos this morning with the motorway closed following two separate lorries ablaze.

Emergency services on the scene battle to put the fire out
Traffic camera images show dramatic images of flames tearing through one HGV and queues stretching for miles behind it.
The worst-hit stretch is between Junction 27 at Epping and Junction 26 at Waltham Abbey, with one lorry appearing to have been completely destroyed by the blaze.
National Highways this mroining took to X to say due” to the intensity of the blaze”, the closure is likely to extend in the morning peak travel period.
Long queues formed around Junction 28 near Brentwood, with traffic cameras showing queues back towards Junction 30.

The incident came after a crash between Junctions 27 and 28, which sparked a major response from emergency services.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “The M25 has been blocked both ways between J27 (Epping) and J26 (Waltham Abbey) due to a lorry fire.”
Drivers are warned to expect severe delays as crews continued tackling the blaze and clearing the motorway.
