In what appeared to be a subtle dig at his previous big-budget TV wedding, the 33-year-old said the day featured “nothing superfluous”.
Alongside a picture of the couple’s wedding bands, he wrote: “I married my best friend today.
“Just two people saying I love you to each other. No flashing lights, no camera crews, nothing superfluous.
“Thanks to those who witnessed this special moment in our lives.”

One photo from the ceremony appeared to show Harrison reading vows he had written himself to Gina.
But the reality TV star decided to share another version of the vow snap – an AI-generated mock-up that saw him with a fuller figure which divided fans.
While some followers found it amusing, others accused him of body-shaming.
When one follower asked, “Why are you being so mean?”, Harrison curtly replied: “I posted this about myself.”

Another wrote: “Is this meant to be funny?” while a third added: “Honestly why?”
The former builder found fame on the tenth series of Married At First Sight Australia, where he was paired with beauty educator Bronte Schofield.
During the experiment, Bronte confronted Harrison after hearing rumours he had been dating someone outside the show.
Later in the series, Harrison was accused of gaslighting and manipulating Bronte by her sister Kirra, as well as several of their co-stars.
Harrison later defended himself, claiming he had received a “bad edit” by show producers.
He went on to find love with Gina Ha, proposing after one year together.
Harrison got down on one knee during a helicopter flight over Uluru, previously known as Ayers Rock.
