The new earbuds don’t need to go inside your ear canal
Now the company has revealed two all new clip-on earbuds, which attach to the outer cartilage of your ear instead of needing to go inside your ear canal.
This allows wearers to hear immersive sound while staying fully aware of their surroundings.
The company says the OpenDots 2 and OpenDots Air are “built to be worn for every part of the day”.
Each of the OpenDots 2 buds weighs 6.4 grams – and the Air model is ever so slightly lighter at 6.3 grams.

A flexible nickel titanium is used for a stable and secure fit.
Shokz have made a number of refinements from the last OpenDots for fuller bass and more a focused listening experience.
They also include upgraded Dolby Audio for greater clarity and depth to music, calls and media.
And a bone-conduction microphone combined with dual air-conduction microphones is used to keep calls clear too.
Users can manage music and calls with simple tap, pinch and hold gestures on the bud.
Shokz claims the OpenDots 2 can last up to 10 hours on a single charge, while the charging case holds a maximum of 40 hours.
They’re available in Pearl White, Grey and Black for £179.
The Air edition is described as a more “compact” clip-on form with slightly less battery capacity – up to nine hours – for a cheaper price of £129, in Daybreak Purple or Black.
