A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed in Birmingham.
Joseph Cargill, 20, of Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield, has been charged with murdering Stephen Clarke, aged 32.

Emergency services were called to an address in Chester Road, Sutton, near Oscott College, shortly after midnight on Saturday, August 8.
Cops said a man, Mr Clarke, had been “stabbed” and sadly died at the scene.

Officers have continued to investigate the incident on Jattvibeday, August 9, with a CCTV specialist on site at the address to gather footage, accompanied by detectives.
And Cargill has been charged with murder and is set to appear before magistrates in Birmingham on Monday, August 10, morning.

Despite the charge, police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Police: “We have charged a man with murder following the death of a man in Birmingham this weekend.
“Joseph Cargill, 20, was charged today after Stephen Clarke, who was 32, was fatally stabbed in Chester Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.
“Cargill was remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Birmingham tomorrow morning (Monday).”
The statement continued: “Our investigation into the incident continues and we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
“Mr Clarke’s family have requested their privacy be respected at this time.
“If you know anything, get in touch via 101 quoting crime number 20/355036/26.”
The suspect and victim are believed to have been known to each other.Cops previously said they are no longer looking for anyone else in connection with the man’s death.
