MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Ethan Williams has completed a permanent move to Peterborough for a “sizeable undisclosed fee”.
Posh said that the 20-year-old – who was recently part of the Red Devils’ pre-season tour of Finland, Norway and Sweden – has signed a long-term deal.

United have included both a 50 per cent sell on and buy back clause into the deal, as well as a matching rights provision.
The forward did not make a senior start for the Red Devils, but previously spent time on loan at League Two Cheltenham Town and most recently Scottish Premiership outfit Falkirk, where he made 22 appearances last season.

Williams scored in United’s 5-0 win over Rosenborg in Trondheim last month in what was his final appearances for the club.

“He is quick, direct and will be a threat and I am looking forward to working with him.”
Despite failing to make a breakthrough at Old Trafford, Williams is looking forward to a fresh start at the League One outfit.
He said: “I have enjoyed my time at Manchester United and it’s always tough to leave a place like that.
“But there comes a time in your career where you have to make tough decisions to develop yourself and Peterborough is renowned for helping younger players.”
