That deal was similar to when United signed Ayden Heaven from Arsenal in the 2025 winter transfer window.
Heaven was also 18 at the time and had made only one senior appearance for the Gunners.
He made his United debut a month after joining the club and overall made six appearances in the 2024-25 run-in.
Page came on in the 79th minute of Leicester’s League Cup win against Northampton Town on Saturday and Leicester start their League One campaign at Notts County on Saturday.

Thompson was signed on the promise of eventual first-team integration.
He has already trained under head coach Michael Carrick.
Sekou Kone was also 18 when United signed the Mali international in August 2024.
Kone has just rejoined the Ineos-owned FC Lausanne Sport for a second loan spell.
Should Page arrive, he will become United’s seventh arrival of the summer.
Carrick has already brought in Karl Darlow, Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, Kit Margetson, Cristian Oroczo and Thompson.
The Red Devils have also been liked with the likes of Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall and Fulham defender Antonee Robinson.
