MICHELLE Keegan made a steamy return to screens tonight as she was seen romping in the street with her on-screen colleague Douglas Booth.
Chemistry between the two leads quietly simmered throughout the opening episode of all-new ITV drama The Blame, with the two police officers finally giving in to their lust in the final few minutes.

Michelle plays DI Emma Crane to Douglas’s DI Tom Radley in the six-part new series, which sees the pair uncover serious misconduct within Wakestead Police Station, as they investigate the murder of a young girl called Sophie.
Moments before the two locked lips, Emma was sat in the car with Tom and revealed that she’d discovered a group chat where officers were sending photos of female victims and making derogatory comments about them.

Tom told her he wasn’t in the chat but admitted he was a coward for not speaking up about it.
Michelle then asked if he’ll join her in reporting the misconduct to bosses, prompting Tom to storm out of the car.

The two coppers were next seen cuddling up in bed the morning after getting intimate
As she followed him in the rain, Tom came to a stop in an alleyway and admitted that while it would ruin his career he can’t say no to her as he has feelings for her.
It’s then that an overcome Emma went in for a kiss, with a passionate Tom turning her around and pinning her against the wall.
As they snogged, Tom’s fingers lingered down her body and he pulled down her trousers, before entering her.
Michelle moanes as the rain-soaked duo romped up against the brick wall.
The scene then cut to the next morning where the two were seen cuddling and smiling in bed together.
Speaking ahead of the show premiere tonight, Michelle said she was determined to make sure she did justice to real-life officers, so would grill her dad Michael, who joined the force as a teenager and rose to the rank of Inspector.

She said: “This is the first time I’ve played a police officer and the thing is, my dad was in the police force.
“He was an inspector having been in the police since he was 17. So I used to go to him and go, ‘Dad, what do you think about this?’
“When I was doing the meeting scenes, because my dad obviously was quite high rank, I was like, ‘How would you talk to people in the police force and how was your body language?’
“I used to go to him quite a lot actually. He was a good resource.
I spoke to him about the kind of misogyny and sexism that he experienced when he was working in the police force.
“He said because he was a police officer back in the ’70s and ’80s, there were hardly any women in the police force, and he only had a couple in his team.
“But he said they were treated equally. There might have been lad banter, which we get nowadays. He said that’s never changed, that’s always been there.”
