MOSES ITAUMA is cleaning up the heavyweight division and his own messy digs.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Filip Hrgovic, the 21-year-old Chatham prodigy moved a handful of his brothers into a Harlow camp house to be close to Ben Davison’s thriving gym.

Preparations for the O2 battle with the 36-year-old Olympic bronze winner got a boost when it was upgraded to a clash for the vacant IBF world title.
Oleksandr Usyk binned all four belts when he wiped the floor with the blue riband ranks but now the Kent wunderkind is on a recycling mission to tot up all that precious metal for himself.

“One of the brothers said he was going to take the bins out and then the other brother got annoyed and argued that it was his turn.
“It sparked a big debate about bins and cleaning and everything.
“But I take my own rubbish out, I clean up my own stuff, I stay out of it and watch them argue.
“I like being in camp because it gives me structure and routine.”

Itauma’s freakish talent is being supplemented by a phenomenal dedication and an unnerving maturity for a man his age, in a sport so often littered with trash talk.
But having a mum from Slovakia – and a few ex-military uncles who take him running and swimming in the mountains – and a strict Nigerian dad, has made him a genetic force to be reckoned with.
This week the Itauma and Blaschek clans will come together, from different corners of the world, to support British boxing’s new favourite son.
And while most normal 21-year-olds might get nervous about potentially becoming the second youngest heavyweight champion in history, Itauma is just excited to see lots of familiar faces.
“I feel like it’s one of the only times that brings all the family together,” he said about his 15th professional fight camp.

Itauma, 21, has been shaking up the division since securing back-to-back round 1 knockouts in 2023.
Three years later, the Brit star continues to put opponents on the canvas, all while staying undefeated.

“In fight week they come from all over; Slovakia, Manchester, America, wherever.
“It’s the one time of the year where the whole family tree is around me. It’s nice.”
The last and only time Itauma boxed at the Greenwich venue was a 2024 two-round demolition of Mariusz Wach.
On his undercard that night was 32-year-old featherweight world title challenger Raven Chapman.
On July 24, on a sparring and training trip to Denmark, Chapman collapsed due to a bleed on the brain and needed emergency surgery.
But her incredible fighting spirit kept her alive and she has now returned to the UK to continue her rehabilitation.
And Itauma sent his best wishes to his former stablemate, saying: “Stay strong, Raven, keep fighting.”
