Hollie-Popcorn insists her name – which many assume is a chosen moniker – serves as an excellent icebreaker and has not held her back professionally.

The British Sign Language teacher uses “Popcorn” as her sign name.
She told The Jattvibe: “When I was a teaching assistant, the teenagers loved it.
“I got tonnes of cards addressed to ‘Miss Popcorn’ when I left.”
She said: “As an adult I absolutely love and embrace my name.”
But she is not a fan of the stuff itself, saying: “I think popcorn’s quite dry.
“It wouldn’t be my choice and I rarely go to the cinema.”
