A TRANSGENDER neo-Nazi provocateur who changed gender to avoid men’s prison has been sent to a female slammer in Germany.

Mustachioed fascist Marla-Svenja Liebich, 55, previously known as Sven, was extradited from the Czech Republic on Wednesday.

The German far-Right provocateur, who has been photographed at rallies in a Nazi-style uniform, disappeared last August.

Liebich had previously failed to attend a women’s prison to serve a one-and-a-half-year sentence handed to him in 2023 for slander and incitement to hatred.

The next year, he registered as a woman while appealing the sentence.

The act of a “transition” was seen as an ironic bid to mock the self-determination law – sparking debate over the potential abuse of the new rule.

The reforms, introduced by Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his centrist coalition government, made it easier to change a person’sname and gender.

Liebich, who has frequently appeared in public wearing women’s clothing and a moustache, said his change of gender and request to serve in a female prison were to avoid “discrimination” from male inmates.

It comes after Liebich disrupted an LGBT pride parade in 2022 in Halle, Germany, by allegedly calling demonstrators “parasites on society”.

Before Wednesday’s extradition, he was said to have been “co-operative” with police during the process in the Czech Republic.

Last year, German prison officials said the decision to send Liebich to a women’s prison was due to his registered gender – not his biological sex.

He has been branded a “right-wing extremist” by local intelligence services and is a high-profile figure in Germany’s conservative scene.

Liebich has been pictured taking part in protests and on numerous occasions sporting an armband with the “Sicherheits-Abteilung” slogan, meaning security department.

Its initials, SA, are the same as the Nazi paramilitary militia known as the Brownshirts.

Scholz initially justified the gender reforms as a monumental step in the right direction towards respecting minorities in Germany.

But in response to Liebich’s exploitation of the rule, the current Chancellor Friedrich Merz has pledged to review it.
