A new Greggs store has opened in Birmingham New Street station, taking up twice as much space as its previous branch elsewhere in the station.
Located facing Stephenson Street, the Greggs is conveniently based at the entrance of the station.
Greggs’ current grab-and-go shop in the station promoted the new site with a sign saying: ‘Our bags are packed. We’re moving: next door.’
The new store has considerably more seating space, giving customers a comfortable experience when they wait for their trains.

Part of “Tasty by Greggs” in collaboration with Primark, the site has a 130-seater cafe spanning over two floors.
Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: “We’re excited to be welcoming customers to our new and improved shop in Birmingham New Street Station, with three new members joining the existing team.
“We look forward to providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites”.
