NICK Grimshaw has revealed he was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles on the morning of Matty Healy and Gabbriette’s wedding after a severe allergic reaction.
Luckily, his saviour, Charli XCX, was on hand to save the day.

In a new admission, Nick said he had an intense allergic reaction to a juice, which left his whole face inflamed.
The 1975 singer Matty, who is the son of Denise Welch, married his model fiancée last month over in the States.

And radio host Nick was one of the many celebrity guests on the star-studded list.
But it wasn’t a smooth day for the presenter, who has revealed: “I woke up ont he day of the wedding and had a juice and had a crazy allergic reaction, like, my eye.”

Speaking on the Sidetracked podcast with Annie Macmanus, Nick continued: “It was so bad, so bad, my nose inflated outwards and my eyes closed so then I was freaking out.
“The hotel were freaking out because they were like, ‘Oh, are you allergic to nuts?’ and I was like, no. And they were like, ‘can you breathe?’ I was like, yes and they’re like, ‘Is your mouth closing up?’ and I was like, oh, now I think it is.
“It was bad, I had to go to like the ER and have a f**king steroid shot.”
The steroid shot left Nick feeling “weird”, as he recalled his joints all hurting following the incident.
But thankfully, fellow wedding guest and superstar Charli XCX helped Nick find a doctor and aided him as he continued to feel in pain.
“She was super helpful and super caring,” he said of the BRAT singer.
Whilst Nick did make it to the wedding, he kept a pair of sunglasses firmly on his head for the day.
