The assault is alleged to have taken place at his home near HMNB Clyde at Faslane in 2013 after a night drinking.

The man told a military court in Catterick: “I felt disgusting and violated.”

Another sailor says he woke up in Cursiter’s bed in his boxers in 2022 at the HMS Drake base in Plymouth.

He told a cleaner: “I think I may have been raped.”

The court heard that Cursiter’s DNA was found in the man’s underpants.

Cursiter, former deputy commander of nuclear-armed HMS Vanguard, denies sex assault, drug, and false imprisonment charges.

Trial continues.
