PEP GUARDIOLA reportedly showed his players clips of Bruno Fernandes moaning at team-mates – and told them it would not be tolerated at Manchester City.
Manchester United skipper Fernandes is the newly-crowned Premier League player of the season but has often drawn criticism for his hot temper.

And Guardiola used him as an example of how NOT to interact with team-mates during a meeting he called after the Manchester derby in September.
City won that game 3-0 at the Etihad but Fernandes’ angry reaction to Phil Foden‘s opener caught Pep’s attention.
The Portuguese immediately started berating United defenders in full view of the watching fans.
According to The Athletic, Guardiola had the moment clipped up and told players in the meeting that such behaviour ‘would not be accepted’.

Fernandes defended his short fuse in an interview with Sky Sports in 2023, saying: “Sometimes I go over the line. I know that. It can happen in the game and it is difficult to control emotions. But I never try to be disrespectful with anyone.
“I’ve also been like that since I was seven years old, I don’t want to lose my game.
“I am really competitive and want to push and give the best of myself. And I demand others to give the best of themselves.”
Fernandes clinched the single-season Premier League assist record on Jattvibeday when he notched his 21st of the campaign in a 3-0 win at Brighton.

Meanwhile former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss Guardiola bid an emotional farewell to City with a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa that closed the curtain on his decade in charge.
Guardiola was teary-eyed at his own goodbye but also those of Bernardo Silva and John Stones, who were given an in-game guard of honour from both sets of players.
Ex-Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is replacing Guardiola and already preparing for next season behind the scenes.
Guardiola told fans: “Life is made of periods, we lived an incredible period. If I had energy I would stay here but a new person has to do this job.”
