Yesterday, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy admitted the Government was preparing to spend MORE cash to flood middle-class areas with illegal migrants.

Labour is turning deaf ear to all communities by ignoring people of Piddington

After more than two years in power, ministers STILL talk as though there is nothing they can do to stop any of this.

It would be whole lot “fairer” on all voters if Labour did something to fix our broken asylum system.

But Labour’s war on fun is destroying both — with working-class communities taking the brunt.

Entain, the owner of Ladbrokes and Coral, has axed 400 jobs following a swingeing tax grab in the last Budget.

Now Burnham is said to be considering even higher taxes on gaming machines in bookies — which would lead to even more jobs being lost, especially young workers in entry-level posts.

It will also deliver another kick in the teeth to racing, which relies on subscriptions paid by high street shops.

Meanwhile, a House of Lords committee of hopelessly out-of-touch peers is pushing for a ban on gambling advertising.

What do they think that will do to struggling lower league football clubs and others who rely on the lifeline?

Such virtue-signalling and economic ignorance is a nailed-on loser.

MINISTERS and unions have spent days attacking Reform over £72million donated by two cryptocurrency tycoons, claiming democracy should never be for sale.

For its part, Labour’s had £100million from the unions in recent years — all while hiking the minimum wage, imposing burdensome workers’ rights and giving huge public sector pay boosts.

Now TUC leader Paul Nowak has been made a director of the Bank of England, supposedly on the basis he’s “apolitical”!

It must be a different Mr Nowak who led the charge against the Reform donation . . .
