Prabhas has locked a release date for his upcoming film Fauzi, with the makers confirming a worldwide theatrical rollout on December 3, 2026. The actor posted the news on his social media account alongside a new poster, captioning it, “अज्ञातपर्व ENDS. #Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026.”The poster shows Prabhas seated on a rock amid a battlefield littered with fallen soldiers, his body marked with blood and wounds, a rifle in his grip. It carries the tagline “A Battalion Who Fights Alone.” Director Hanu Raghavapudi shared his own message on social media, writing, “On 3rd DECEMBER 2026, the #Fauzi march begins.”Set in the early 1940s, Fauzi is a fictional period action film centered on a soldier’s story, described by the makers as one of the hidden chapters of history. It marks Prabhas’ return to large-scale period filmmaking following the Baahubali franchise. Raghavapudi, known for directing Sita Ramam, helms the project.The film brings together Mythri Movie Makers, the banner behind Pushpa, with Raghavapudi’s directorial vision, a pairing being described in the industry as a coming together of two successful creative forces. Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar are producing, with Mythri Movie Makers backing the film and T-Series Films presenting it. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music, while Sudeep Chatterjee handles cinematography.The cast includes debutant Imanvi Esmail as the female lead, along with Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher in supporting roles. Fauzi will release in five Indian languages and stands as the actor’s second theatrical outing of 2026, following The Raja Saab in January.
