Under an adorable picture of Adelaide, Eugenie said: “2 weeks ago today we welcomed our girl to the world. And since then we’ve had the most special, cosy and love-filled time.
“We are so happy to share Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts.
“Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.
“Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers.”
After the birth of Adelaide, proud dad, Jack Brooksbank, took a photo of the baby to share with the world which was posted alongside the statement.
The parents took time to decide on the name of their new daughter while the family enjoyed spending time together with August and Ernest.
Their daughter was born a day before Meghan Markle’s 45th birthday, with the Duchess sharing pictures and thanking her social media followers for the “birthday love.”
