‘The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026’ passed in Lok Sabha by voice vote.Union Minister Jitendra Singh said anti-paper leak amendment Bill showed that the government was open to learning from experience.The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day amid chaotic protests by Opposition which rued that Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to put forth his response completely.Earlier, high drama was witnessed in the Lok Sabha over the Leader of Opposition’s remarks on Union Home Minister Amit Shah.Gandhi alleged that the Home Minister had ordered firing on the protesting students. He even described him as the “so called Home Minister”.
