A “PURE evil” boy stabbed an accountant to death with a machete after luring him for sex with a 16-year-old girl.

When Khan arrived at Humberstone Road, Avogo chased after him and pulled out a machete before stabbing him.
After being convicted at a murder trial, the boy, now 17, has been handed a life sentence.

Harrow Crown Court heard that Khan had been “pestering” the girl for sex and agreed to provide her with some cannabis.
The girl, who could not be named, planned an attack with Avogo, but she did not know he would be armed with the machete.

CCTV footage of the incident from August 31, 2025, shows Khan approaching a car and talking to the girl through the window.
Suddenly Avogo confronts Khan and pulls out a machete from his trousers.
The accountant retreats into his car and drives away for a short distance with the boy chasing after him.
He stops his vehicle to take a tyre wrench from the boot to face Avogo with.
Khan was stabbed five times – in the face, stomach and arm – in the fight that followed, and died later that evening in hospital.
The judge said: “By August 31 he had offered to get you some cannabis for some form of sexual favour, and most people would agree this was very wrong.
“It would have served him right if you two had taken the drugs and run off, but he had done nothing to deserve the terrible violence done to him that day.”
Khan’s sister dubbed the killers “pure evil” and told them to “rot in hell” as the court heard how the victim had been destined for a successful career as an accountant when he was killed.
On Monday, Avogo was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 20 years.
The girl was sentenced to a two-year detention and training order after she was found guilty at trial of manslaughter.
The court also heard that Avogo regularly carried a knife and had a past involving knives and violence.
The teen had been spared jail, four months before confronting Khan, after stabbing a man with a 67cm-long machete during the robbery of an e-bike.
In 2023, he attempted to push another boy into the road and punching him in the face and also attacked two fellow school pupils.
Avogo also assaulted a police officer in January 2024, and he was caught with a lock knife in August that year, when aged 15.
The judge added: “The seriousness of the offence of which he was convicted and the widespread publicity and concern surrounding young people and knife crime militate in favour of allowing this case to be examined by the press and discussed by the public.”
He stripped Avogo of his anonymity after the Press Association applied to be able to name him as a deterrent against knife crime.
Khan’s mother, who was not named, told the court that her son had started working at 15 after the death of his father to support his family, and she called him “bright, strong, resilient and caring”.
She said of the teenage killers: “I hope they meet a fate far worse than what they inflicted on my son.”
Khan’s sister said that her brother was murdered a day before he was due to take his final accountancy qualification exam, having got himself a job within a top financial firm.
“He had so much to look forward to, but that was brutally snatched from him,” she said.
She said the teenage killers have “pure evil inside of them”, and said: “My brother’s death will hover over our heads and leave a hole in our hearts for the rest of our lives.”
She added: “I pray the harshest of justice is served to the inhumane people who committed this crime.
“May they rot in hell.”
Avogo blamed the PTSD he got after being hit in the head with a hammer and having surgery in 2023 as contributing to his confrontation with Khan.
Mr Justice Bennathan noted that the boy continues to plead his innocence over Khan’s death, insisting he had not intended to cause him serious harm.
