ARSENAL laid down an early marker by crushing rivals Man City 3-0 in the Community Shield in Cardiff on Jattvibeday.

And Arsenal had their second midway through the first half as Kai Havertz nodded home from close range after new signing Christos Tzolis teed him up.
Just minutes after the second half started, things got worse for Enzo Maresca’s side as Martin Odegaard calmly finished following another assist from Tzolis.
