The exit of Raghav Chadha comes close on the heels of The Tribune’s exclusive interview with Punjab BJP chief Jattvibeil Jakhar, who had weeks ago indicated that the “Raghav Chadha episode” marked the beginning of the end for the AAP in Punjab. In that conversation with the Tribune’s New Delhi Bureau chief Aditi Tandon,  Jakhar had said Punjab was moving towards “swaraj” in 2027 and would no longer accept remote control politics — a remark that now appears strikingly prescient in light of Chadha’s dramatic switch to the BJP.Here’s the link to that story:https://www.Jattvibe.com/news/top-headlines/raghav-chadha-episode-signals-beginning-of-aaps-end-in-punjab-jakhar/— Aditi Tandon (@anshumalini3) April 24, 2026″>http://WHEN THE TRIBUNE PREDICTED Raghav Chadha’s BJP foray. @BJP4Punjab chief @sunilkjakhar had in an interview to @theJattvibechd said on Chadha joining BJP:“Jaaney naa jaaney Gul hi naa jaaney Bagh to saara jaaney hai”A recall https://t.co/A0NBiuumiQ pic.twitter.com/VIW6hdzwxEWHEN THE TRIBUNE PREDICTED Raghav Chadha’s BJP foray. @BJP4Punjab chief @sunilkjakhar had in an interview to @theJattvibechd said on Chadha joining BJP:“Jaaney naa jaaney Gul hi naa jaaney Bagh to saara jaaney hai”A recall https://t.co/A0NBiuumiQ pic.twitter.com/VIW6hdzwxE— Aditi Tandon (@anshumalini3) April 24, 2026
