THE niece of politician Robert F. Kennedy Jr has sparked controversy after announcing that she is a WWE wrestler.
Fans have accused Zoe Hines of using her family connections to get into the WWE, with the company also having multiple political ties.

Her announcement has caused controversy
Zoe, the niece of US Secretary of Health and Human Services RFK Jr and his wife Cheryl Hines, is a former collegiate softball player for Boston College but has swapped the bat for the ring.
After announcing the news on her Instagram, Hines will begin training and wrestling as part of WWE’s weekly NXT television program, which focuses on its rising talents.
She previously tried out for WWE in August 2025 held by the company surrounding its annual SummerSlam event.
Fans flocked to the comments in her Instagram announcement with some accusing Hines of being a nepo baby.
One wrote: “NEPO.”
Another said: “NEPO HIRE.”
While a third said: “Complete DEI. Didn’t earn it.”
Some fans also thought it might have been a political move given the company’s close ties to the Trump administration.

Former WWE co-owner Linda McMahon currently serves as the US Secretary of Education.
While Hines’s uncle, RFK Jr, is US Health and Human Services Secretary.
Additionally current WWE executive Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque also serves as the vice chair on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.
