The coach left his role with Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough in the middle of the season to join the relegation-bound side.

He could not save the disaster season, but now he will not even get the chance to continue his project in the Championship.
His replacement has already been agreed per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who says Gil Vicente boss Cesar Peixoto set to take the reins.
