SAM Thompson has held a ‘funeral’ for his friendship with Pete Wicks as his romance with Olivia Attwood heats up.

Sam, who has been best friends with Pete for years, took to Instagram with a hilarious funeral for their friendship after the former TOWIE star went public with new girlfriend Olivia.
Dressed in black, Sam carried a cardboard coffin featuring a huge cutout of Pete with a bunch of red roses.

He then propped his friend’s “coffin” against a tree, placed flowers and a cigarette beside it, and said: “Thank you for coming and helping celebrate the life of Peter James Jonathan Joseph Wicks.
“I was shocked when I heard the news, you don’t see it coming with someone like Peter.”

“You know he’s always that guy who’s first into Stringfellows, last out. He’s got slippers there. I should have seen it coming.
“He started laughing at my jokes. He stopped abusing me. He hasn’t called me a c*** in months.
“I still remember the last thing he said to me – ‘no b**** can hold me down’.
As he hilariously broke down into tears Sam slammed: “Well Pete she’s held you down.”

Sam then showed the camera a screenshot of Olivia and Pete embracing and said: “He used to choke me like that. Now he’s choking her.”
He then collapsed to the ground as he sobbed: “I’ve lost him. They’re posting on Instagram. He doesn’t like Instagram. “
Sam’s sister Louise Thompson and her partner Ryan Libbey solemnly watched proceedings.
As Sam’s heartbreak continued, Ryan dragged him away from the memorial as he cried out: “Peter, No, Peter!”
Fans flocked to comment and one wrote: “This is outrageously brilliant.”
Another said: “This is Sam hard launching his love for Pete… now we await Pete’s message back.”
A third wrote: “The fact you’re openly being dragged across the floor kicking and screaming as people walk by is sending me.”
While the world famous club Stringfellows said: “Sam we feel exactly the same way. Let us help you commiserate.”
Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Olivia shared a slew of steamy couple snaps.
In one picture, Pete could be seen holding Olivia’s face as he kissed her on the cheek, and in another he cheekily grabbed her bum as he went in for a snog.
She captioned the affectionate post: “Because I missed him …”
Olivia also added in the comments: “Not because you lot bullied me into hard launching.”
Pete hard-launched their relationship a whole month before Olivia felt the time was right.
The Loose Women panelist recently revealed it was Pete who had made the first move after she ended her 10-year relationship with footballer Bradley Dack in January.
And Olivia has dropped a huge hint that things are getting serious with Pete as she leaked a telling WhatsApp message.
Olivia carefully omitted who sent the text which read: “You are the love of my life.”
