Strickland, 35, edged a hard-fought five-round war via split decision to hand Chimaev his first-ever loss.

The New Jersey joust proved to be a bloody affair, with both men having their faces busted open.

Strickland had more damage on his face by the end of the fight, with his nose looking incredibly worse for wear.

And he took to his Instagram story to reveal the damage to his schnozz and a nasty shiner under his left eye.

Strickland’s nose looked like it had been broken by a brutal shot by Chimaev.

In his post-fight interview, he said: ““He may have broke my nose. I want to tell you guys, my fans, I f***ing love you guys.

“I would not be where I am today without you guys.
