SHOCKING new footage has shown the Monaco bomber planting and detonating the explosive as a Ukrainian oligarch and his family walked into the trap.

A new jaw-dropping angle showed the botched assassination attempt on property mogul Vadym Ermolaev, his mistress, and their 13-year-old son.

In the extraordinary clip, the suspect, believed to be 39-year-old Ukrainian national Anastasiia Berezovska, can be seen walking in front of Ermolaev and his family.

She then appears to place an explosive bag packed with nuts and bolts just outside the building’s entrance.

Moments later as the attacker walks off, the family approaches the front door before a huge blast is seen.

Ermolaev and his mistress Anna Nasobina, 46, suffered severe burns following the devastating explosion.

Nasobina was forced to have her legs amputated following the horror, while their son was also wounded.

The video, released on Friday by Ukraine‘s prosecutor general, was filmed on a surveillance camera placed close to the scene by the “perpetrators”.

Ukrainian authorities said the would-be assassin had tried to delete the footage following the attack.

But investigators have been able to recover the astonishing clip.

Ukraine’s prosecutor general Ruslan Kravchenko said: “Urgent investigative and procedural actions are actively ongoing to obtain new evidence in the case of an attempted murder in the Principality of Monaco.

“Thanks to the professional work of the specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine, one of the key pieces of evidence, which the suspects tried to destroy, was successfully restored.

“This involves a video recording from the surveillance camera, which the perpetrators had previously installed near the crime scene to obtain confirmation of the order.

“Despite the fact that this evidence was deleted, the specialists of the SBU were able to restore it.”

Berezovska was identified as the prime suspect for the parcel bomb by Interpol before she was found dead near Kyiv on July 6 just days after the blast.

After the explosion, she is understood to have gone to the town of Beausoleil, before making her way to Italy, investigators say.

Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on allegations Berezovska was shot dead after her return to the country.

Vladyslav Reut, an officer with the GUR, Ukraine’s military spy agency, has since been charged with her murder and appeared in court last week alongside Vitalii Zhykovych, his co-defendant.

Zhykovych is an ex-SBU agent, Ukraine’s security service.

Both men have denied wrongdoing.

Reut initially admitted to killing Berezovska – but later retracted his alleged confession before pointing the finger at Zhykovych, who has also denied this accusation.

Ermolaev has since broken his silence on the assassination attempt.

The tycoon said there was “no doubt” that “serving officers of the main intelligence directorate of the military of defence of Ukraine” had coordinated the bombing.

Ermolaev said the blast was “powerful enough to tear apart steel railings and destroy the stone steps outside our home”.

Nasobina lost both her legs – an injury the oligarch described as “catastrophic and irreversible” – while he said his young son suffered “burns, fractures and severe trauma”.

He added: “I remain in intensive care and am only now beginning the long process of recovery.

“This was not a warning. It was an attempt to kill not only me, but my family as well.”
