STAR Wars legend Mark Hamill was branded a “sick individual” by The White House after posting an AI image of Donald Trump in a shallow grave.
The Luke Skywalker actor, 74 — an outspoken critic of the US President — later apologised and took it down.

The image was captioned “If Only”, along with the words: “Donald J. Trump 1946-2024.”
Mr Trump survived two assassination attempts in 2024, before another one last month.
Hamill wrote with the pic: “He should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes.
“Long enough to realise he’ll be disgraced in the history books, forevermore.”

The White House’s Rapid Response account on X blasted the post.
It said: “Mark Hamill is one sick individual. These Radical Left lunatics just can’t help themselves. This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President.”
Hamill deleted it, adding: “Actually, I was wishing him the opposite of dead, but apologise if you found the image inappropriate.”
Earlier this week, Mr Trump marked May 4th as “Star Wars Day” by posting an image of himself as a Mandalorian warrior from the spin-off series and film.

It comes after an assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in Washington DC last month.
Mr Trump was also shot in the ear by 20-year-old Thomas Crooks at an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024.
Two months later, gunman Ryan Routh, 58, was spotted in the shrubbery at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, while the President was playing.
Hamill — who first appeared in the original 1977 Star Wars movie alongside Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher — has threatened to quit the US to escape Trump’s rule.
He revealed that he seriously considered moving to London or Ireland after the 2024 election but was dissuaded by his wife, who asked him why he would allow Mr Trump to force him out.
When the White House shared an AI image of Trump as a Jedi wielding a red lightsaber last year, Hamill noted that the colour was used by baddies.
He quipped: “Proof this guy is full of SITH.”
