Another round of talks between the state government and safai karamcharis failed on Monday and the sanitation workers decided to continue their strike.During a meeting attended by Finance Minister Harpal Cheema and Local Government Minister Harjot Bains, leaders of safai karamacharis were assured that their demands would be addressed after lifting of the model code of conduct imposed in view of the civic body elections.Municipal Mulazam Safai Karamchari Union leader Kuldeep Singh said they would continue the strike.
