A TEENAGE boy has been rushed to hospital after he tumbled 50ft down a woodland bank and suffered head injuries.
Ambulance and fire crews were called to Amados Drive on the edge of Plympton, a suburb of Plymouth, Devon, at 3.55pm on July 12.

The 13-year-old boy had fallen down what was described as a bank in a wooded area and ended up on a footpath.
A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “He had suffered head injuries and possibly back injuries.”

Crews from the fire service were able to get the youth onto a stretcher and back up the bank to the road.
He was taken to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance for treatment.

Around the same time the Devon Air Ambulance landed at Underwood Recreation Ground, in Plympton, but it is not clear if this was in response to the boy’s fall.
