SHUFFLE THE DECK (5.25)

He was a winning hurdler who has not done a lot wrong since going over fences and this looks a decent chance to get his head in front.

He has yet to finish out of the frame and was a good third on handicap debut at Fairyhouse last month.

That form has been franked and moving up from two miles looks a wise move.

He looks on a fair mark and goes on any ground so should be on the premises against some more exposed chasers.

SPY (7.10)

Charles Byrnes goes his own way as a trainer and this seven-year-old has been running on the all-weather at Dundalk.

He was in winning form there last time out in December when showing lots of zip over 1m2f.

His last hurdles effort came at Down Royal in November where he was third in decent company from just 1lb lower.

This trip on softish ground holds no fears and the yard has been in good form.

As with most runners from the stable, any market support would increase confidence.

LARGY STAR (7.40 Punchestown)

Gavin Cwomwell’s seven-year-old has only featured in two bumpers but he’s been in good form in the pointing field with two wins from his past three runs.

He’s nicely bred for this game and was a close-up third in a big field at Fairyhouse last month.

He is best with some cut and has every chance of making the frame again at what should be a fair each-way price.
