A SNEAKY trick could help stop your Tesco Clubcard vouchers from expiring for the next two years.

A huge £11million worth of the loyalty card vouchers are set to expire at 11.59pm on Monday, August 31.

That means all the rewards you’ve built up will vanish overnight – unless you use this loophole.

Usually, Clubcard vouchers are valid for two years from the date they were issued.

But to extend them, MoneySavingExpert says all you need to do is make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page or donate to one of its partner charities.

The remaining balance will then be credited back to your account.

That means if you spend 50p using a £5 Clubcard voucher, you’ll get £4.50 back.

You can then swap your points for vouchers manually or wait for them to be converted with your next statement.

The new vouchers will then have another two years before they expire.

There is no minimum spend but you may want to spend as little as possible.

You will need to do this for each individual voucher, so it might not be worth it for smaller amounts.

You’ll need to do this by August 31.

If you’re unsure when your vouchers expire, you can check on your account.

Just log onto the Tesco Clubcard site or app and go to ‘Vouchers’.

You’ll then see a list of all your available vouchers and their expiry dates.

If you have paper vouchers, you’ll be able to see the expiry date on the voucher itself.
