With the summer vacation season in full swing and creative energies running high, Nexus Amritsar is hosting the ‘Denim and Sneaker Fest’, a three-day celebration of fashion, sustainability and creativity in association with the International School of Fashion and Design (INIFD), Amritsar.Running from May 29 to 31, the festival focuses on the transformation of old denim into works of art, showcasing how discarded fabric can be repurposed through creative design and craftsmanship.As part of the event, students from INIFD, Amritsar, are participating in the creation of denim-based art and fashion pieces, transforming old denim into unique expressions of creativity and eco-conscious design. Organisers say the festival provides a platform for young designers and artistes to showcase their work.Visitors can explore a range of upcycled denim creations, artistic displays and design installations crafted by emerging talent.
