The centre-back is doing his best to get over the disappointment after flying out for a holiday.
Maguire reposted a picture from wife Fern showing them sunning in a tropical location.
Topless Maguire posed for the picture in a pair of grey swimming trunks, while Fern wore a white polka dot bikini with a black mini skirt.

Fern also posted a separate snap from the trip as she took a mirror selfie while wearing a low-cut brown top with matching skirt.
Maguire can feel hard done by to miss out after making 25 appearances for United this season and helping them finish third in the Premier League.
He is an experienced England star having picked up 66 caps, playing in three major tournaments so far.

But he couldn’t hide his frustration after Tuchel left him out of his squad.
He wrote on X: “I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision.
“I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years. I wish the players all the best this summer.”
He was backed up by his mum, Zoe, who called the decision “disgraceful”.
And Fern also waded into the discussion as she wrote on Instagram: “Beyond devastated for you. There was nothing else you could have possibly done to prove your worth.”
Tuchel claimed Maguire’s comments “surprised” him having already spoken to the player over the phone.
The German boss said: “I was a bit surprised [by Maguire’s reaction], but I respect his personality a lot, I respect his quality a lot.
“He has had an outstanding season, I can see the disappointment, I can see the reason behind the disappointment.
“Still I was a bit surprised because we had a private conversation and he had the chance to express his feelings which he did and this is fair enough because I can see all the reasons why he could be in the squad.
“But, the decision is that we stood firmly with our central defenders that carried us through September, October and November.”
