One lane of four is closed on the anticlockwise stretch near Waltham Abbey, Epping, between J26 and J25.

Emergency services have scrambled to the scene.

National Highways reports delays of between 30 and 40 minutes and building.

Drivers are facing four miles of congestion on the approach.

National Highways said in a statement: “One lane (of 4) is closed on the M25 anticlockwise near Waltham Abbey between J26 and J25 due to a collision.

“Emergency services on scene.

“Recovery enroute.

“Delays building, currently 30mins and four miles of congestion on the approach.”
