A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has tragically died after being struck by a vehicle in a horror crash.
Cops have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The teenager was allegedly struck by a silver Ford Fiesta on Friday night in Gateshead.
She was treated by paramedics and rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but sadly died.
Northumbria Police confirmed it has arrested a suspect, and said he has now been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The force has launched a full investigation into the tragic crash, which happened around 10.40pm on Friday night.
