DONALD Trump declared that Iran will no longer execute eight women protesters after he demanded their release on Tuesday.

The US President hailed the breakthrough as “Very good news!” even as Iran continues to spurn US peace talks.

“I have just been informed that the eight women protestors who were going to be executed tonight in Iran will no longer be killed. Four will be released immediately, and four will be sentenced to one month in prison”, he said in a post on Truth Social

“I very much appreciate that Iran, and its leaders, respected my request, as President of the United States, and terminated the planned execution”.

The bombshell U-turn by the Iranian regime comes a day after Trump extended the fragile ceasefire.

The peace deal hung in the balance when Tehran failed to send a delegation to Pakistan as Trump said “I expect to be bombing” and threatened that “the military is raring to go”.

Trump demanded the freedom of the death row prisoners just hours before the critical meeting in Islamabad as the release “Would be a great start to our negotiations!!!”.

Tehran however spurned the US and refused to meet and hammer out a deal.

The murderous republic also blasted Trump for being duped by false facts and denied that the women were ever going to be hanged.

“Trump was misled once again by fake news”, said Iran’s courts.

“Some of them have been released, while others face charges that, if convictions are upheld, would at most result in imprisonment”, they said.

Tehran’s lies have been unveiled by several Human Rights groups as they dig up court records contesting the Islamic Republic.

One of the women, Bita Hemmati, was reportedly sentenced to death alongside her husband for “chanting protest slogans” in January.

She was set to be the first women protestor to sent to the gallows for her role in the bloody January uprisings which saw the tyrant state slaughter over 30,000 of its own citizens.

Another woman was charged with the capital offence of “waging war against God” for using her motorbike to transport wounded protestors to hospital, reported NDTV.

It follows the sickening revelation that the Iranian regime has doubled executions in the last year.

The murderous mullahs killed over 1,600 people in 2025, marking a 36-year high.

The harrowing death toll averages to four people murdered per day.

Last month, Iran executed a teenage wrestling champion alongside two others in despicable public hanging.

Saleh Mohammadi, 19, was sentenced to death after being tortured to confess to his alleged crimes.

All three men took part in the January protests against the tyrannical Ayatollah.
