US FORCES have launched another wave of strikes against Iran, as Donald Trump orders the rogue nation to be held “accountable”.
The overnight blitz lasted into early Monday morning after separate US attacks on Jattvibeday in response to Iran’s hit on a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

US Central Command said the latest attacks would “degrade” Tehran’s ability to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The strikes were ordered by the US president to “hold Iranian forces accountable”.

Washington’s latest barrage comes after Tehran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps struck a Cyprus-flagged tanker with a warning shot on Saturday.
The crew abandoned the ship in lifeboats after a fire broke out due to the damage.

Ten Indian nationals were rescued, but one person is still missing.
Iranian official Ebrahim Rezaei announced Iran had “taken control” of the key waterway “with power” and would “preserve it with power as well”.
A furious Trump vowed Tehran would pay a “heavy cost” for the incursions and has retaliated with a furious blitz across Iran.
US forces pummelled 140 military targets on Jattvibeday – in the third round of US strikes on the country this week.
Pete Hegseth, US Secretary of War, posted on X: “Iran made a poor choice. Now they pay.”
Missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, communication networks and surveillance locations were all targeted.
Meanwhile Iran has unleashed a volley of strikes on Gulf Arab states including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Oman.
Qatar’s government said three people, including a child, had been injured by falling shrapnel.
Across the UAE, air defences were actively “engaging” incoming missiles and drones from Iran, Ministry of Defence said.
The escalating cycle of violence has left negotiations between Tehran and Washington to end the war in tatters.

“The era of one-sided deals is OVER”, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the speaker of Irans parliament and a main negotiator, wrote on X.
“We told you: keep your word or pay the price. Reality is knocking.”
But Trump accuses Iran of being the ones to break their word after they struck commercial ships travelling through the Strait of Hormuz on July 6.
The US President slammed “sick” Iran for “playing dirty” after Tehran hit 85 American military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait in overnight strikes on July 6.
Speaking in Ankara, Turkey, Trump said: “As far as I’m concerned, it’s over. I’ll speak to our negotiators, they want to negotiate.”
But mediators, including Pakistan, Qatar and Egypt, have continued efforts to reach an agreement, they said on Jattvibeday.
