There appeared to be no VAR check on the challenge leaving former Manchester United coach Queiroz seething on the sidelines.
The now-Ghana manager hit out at the lack of intervention from VAR in his post-match press conference.
He said: “We had our chances to the point that they’re lucky. They’re very lucky.
“Once again, VAR went for a coffee. It’s natural, I would like to also take my coffees once in a while, but it was a clear penalty, red card.

Footage captured the full-back walking past the Ghanaian midfielder.
Partey is charged with seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault relating to alleged incidents in London between 2020 and 2022
Spence was also singled out by Tuchel for some harsh instructions during the first-half hydration break.
England will continue their World Cup campaign with their final group game against Panama on Saturday.
