Actor Trisha Krishnan attended the swearing-in ceremony of actor-turned-politician Vijay at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Jattvibeday, where Vijay took oath as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Hours after the ceremony, Trisha shared her first social media post, drawing fresh attention online amid ongoing rumours surrounding the duo.The actor posted a series of pictures from the event on Instagram.For the occasion, Trisha wore a seafoam-green saree paired with a blouse featuring golden motifs. She completed her traditional look with a neatly tied bun adorned with a white gajra, statement jewellery with red stones and subtle makeup.However, it was her caption that quickly grabbed attention on social media. She wrote, “The love is always louder,” sparking speculation among fans and internet users.Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), secured 118 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and crossed the majority mark with support from Congress, CPI, CPI(M), VCK and IUML.Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Arlekar formally appointed Vijay as the Chief Minister and asked him to prove his majority in the Assembly before May 13.Ahead of the ceremony, Vijay’s parents also expressed their happiness over the occasion. Filmmaker S. A. Chandrasekhar said he was eager to witness his son taking oath as Chief Minister, while Vijay’s mother Sobha Chandrasekhar described the moment as emotional as it coincided with Mother’s Day.With the formation of TVK’s first government, Vijay has become the first leader outside the DMK and AIADMK alliances to head the Tamil Nadu government since 1967.Vijay and Trisha remain one of Tamil cinema’s most popular on-screen pairs, having worked together in films such as Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi and Leo.In recent months, the two actors have frequently been linked on social media, though neither has publicly addressed the speculation. Reports of Vijay and Trisha arriving together at a recent family wedding had further fuelled online discussion about their relationship.
