Vineet Raina isn’t one to play safe. While many actors stick to a winning formula, he’d rather shake things up—even if it means risking short-term gains.Known for shows like Shirdi Wale Sai Baba, Ishq Mein Marjawan and Begusarai, Vineet says careful role selection is key. “I look at the story, the character’s look and its arc. Every role should feel new, not a repeat,” he shares.Spotting sameness early helps him steer clear of typecasting. “If a script lacks variety, I step back. I work with the team to keep the character fresh and meaningful,” he says. For Vineet, comfort zones are off-limits. “I actively choose roles that challenge my image. I’m fine risking quick gains if it helps me grow creatively.”He believes reinvention is essential. “I observe people, study life and keep evolving. Stagnation is limiting.”The actor has even turned down projects to protect his identity. “No amount of money is worth being boxed in. Instinct tells me when something isn’t right.”And the audience? Still firmly on his side. “They’ve supported me in diverse roles. Staying unpredictable keeps us all excited.”
