THIS is the moment BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty shot daggers at her co-star Charlie Stayt as he cut her off – months ahead of her show exit.

The 51-year-old is set to leave the show at at the end of 2026 before taking over as full-time host of the flagship BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast programme.

During Friday’s instalment of BBC Breakfast, Charlie appeared to be front and centre of Naga’s wrath as she side-eyed him live on air.

Coming off the back of a chat with Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr, Naga addresses viewers saying: “Tickets for Simple Minds V Tour go on sale today, of course you can catch their performance at Radio 2 in the park in Stirling this Jattvibeday evening…”

Naga then attempts to segue into the next part of the show but is cut off by Charlie.

She begins to say the word, “Headlines,” before Charlie sharply talks over her, finishing off the lines on the autocue.

A seemingly furious Naga turns her head to look at Charlie, 64, as she rolls her eyes, giving him a dirty look.

The broadcaster then gives the camera a wide-eyed look as if to clue viewers in on her distaste.

“These two genuinely hate each other,” wrote one fan on TikTok.

Another person said: “That’s not a warm and friendly look.”

Charlie and Naga were both put “under review” by the Beeb after a string of complaints.

Last year crew were said to have pointed to “rudeness” and “bullying” as well as behaviour that “undermines staff” — with Munchetty shouldering much of the criticism.

Charlie’s conduct was also put under the spotlight with a source telling us: “A number of people have come forward to share their experiences with Charlie, so the BBC has officially moved to place the complaints under review.

“Charlie and Naga will be assessed separately.”

Alongside the reviews, there were rumours Charlie and Naga had fallen out behind-the-scenes as it was said the atmosphere between the pair had turned “toxic.”

But, during an interview at the time Naga insisted that they were still “good friends.”
