When do GTA 6 pre-orders go live?
GTA 5 holds the record for being the second best-selling video game of all time, with almost 230 million copies being sold worldwide.
But the upcoming release of GTA 6 may challenge this feat, as developers Rockstar have hailed it to be the “largest game launch in history“.
Pre-orders for the game will officially begin on Thursday, June 25.
The highly anticipated title will be available to purchase on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, as well as at other select retailers.

Unfortunately for gamers, there is no PC version of the game at launch, with the game exclusively available to play on consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar has also made the official cover art public, along with downloadable artwork that are both located on the GTA 6 website.
Has Rockstar revealed pricing details and different editions?
Developers Rockstar are yet to reveal the price of GTA 6, leading to speculation over how much gamers will need to spend on the new release.
Gaming industry advisory company Epyllion suggested in a report published last year that it could be priced at $100 (£75).

That would be a stark increase on the previous game, which was available to purchase for just £39.99 on release in the UK.
Different editions of GTA 6 are also yet to be disclosed, with leakers suggesting there will likely be up to six ways to purchase the game.
This would include the standard three-tier system; Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate/Collector’s editions, as well as bundles included with the PS5 and PS5 Pro.

This date seems to be set in stone, after the original release date was delayed on two separate occasions, with the first moving the launch day from autumn 2025 to May of this year.
Last November, developers Rockstar confirmed they needed to further push back the Spring release date, apologising in a statement as they said: “Sorry for adding additional time”.
