It’s a repair mask that you apply on dry hair, meaning you don’t have to wait until wash days to give your hair a boost of moisture and shine. It has a silky, gel texture that doubles as a styling product, creating a glossy, wet look. If you prefer to rinse it out shortly after applying, you can leave it on for as little as five minutes and it will still work its magic, according to the brand. It combines several expert-backed ingredients we’ve previously covered, including squalane (which strengthens hair without weighing it down) and coconut oil to repair damage. This serum is a great product to use if you want to restyle your hair days after a blowout or wash. It adds shine, tames frizz and flyaways, and protects against heat up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also extremely lightweight, which means it won’t weigh down fine hair, according to the brand. You can apply it to damp hair before styling, on days three, four and beyond to tame frizz and restore your day one style, and after blow drying as a finishing treatment. Plus, you don’t need to use a lot of it: Add one to two drops to the midlengths of your hair and add more as needed, according to Mes°.If you have fine hair like me, you know the struggle of dealing with flat, oily and limp hair (usually before you’re even due for a wash). This hair mist not only adds volume to your hair, but it also reduces oiliness on your scalp to keep it from falling flat, according to the brand — and yes, that means it may be able to replace your dry shampoo. Despite getting rid of oil, it doesn’t dry out your scalp; it simply reduces any excess to balance it out, according to Mes°.
