Three persons travelling in a MUV had a narrow escape after their vehicle fell into a seasonal rivulet in spate alongside the road from Rampura to Chhatbir.The vehicle went off the road and began sinking, putting the lives of the three occupants at risk. SSF personnel reached the spot and, despite the strong current, rescued all three from the vehicle one by one.One of the rescued persons was taken home, while the other two were sent to a hospital in an ambulance.The police also recovered an iPhone and Rs 25,000 in cash from the water. The belongings were returned to their owner after identification.
