PRINCESS Diana’s brother forked out for the costs of his girlfriend’s court case against his ex-wife — and paid her big legal bills too.
Professor Cat Jarman sued Countess Karen Spencer for allegedly revealing that she had multiple sclerosis.

The Norwegian TV presenter, 44, had told very few people and was “profoundly distressed” that the news got out, the High Court heard.
Prof Jarman demanded damages for misuse of private information.
Countess Spencer, 53, settled for an undisclosed sum last year, with no admission of liability.
It emerged in separate divorce proceedings that Earl Spencer, 61, had been ordered to pay her legal costs and any settlement.

And a court statement yesterday revealed he also made a formal loan to help with Ms Jarman’s legal costs.
Charles Spencer, Diana’s younger brother, said his partner handled “every aspect of this with grace, integrity and quiet courage”.
Prof Jarman said: “I’m delighted to be able to move on with my life.
“Your medical information is your own and people are not allowed to speculate on that or share it.”
