Alex “Buzz” Burrows is a popular member of the Seagulls’ backroom staff but was not present at the 3-0 victory over rock-bottom Wolves at the Amex Stadium.

He was in hospital by the bedside of his six-year-old boy Alfie, who had a brain tumour removed over the last few weeks.
Players honoured Buzz in their goal celebrations and captain Lewis Dunk did an “A sign” for Alfie when he headed home on five minutes to put Brighton 2-0 up.
Caring chief Hurzeler said: “It’s another prime example of the togetherness at this club.
“Our kitman Buzz, who’s doing an incredible job, has a son who had a really tough surgery in his head.

“Now he’s in rehab and he’s really fighting hard for getting back on track, for getting back to a normal life.
“If Buzz and his family Alice and Alfie can see it, then this win is for you and get back stronger than you are and all the best.”
Kaoru Mitoma pulled up on 58 minutes with a hamstring issue and Brighton – plus Japan ahead of next month’s World Cup – are sweating on the results of his scan.
Hurzeler – who has penned a new three-year deal until 2029 – could guide the club to Champions League qualification come the end of the season.
The German manager – who saw Jack Hinshelwood score after 35 seconds – said: “It’s about attitude and having right the mindset and approach towards the week.
“We had a good intensity and energy in training. We looked sharp.
“The mind was in the right spot and we had a great start. It helped us to control and dominate the game.”
